• This is possibly the most frequently asked question. While each project has its own challenges, there are some universal guidelines. Define your priorities; determine your particular needs and consider the budget. Think about what feeling you want to create.
• How much time does the consultation take?
• It really depends on the project. It can vary; anywhere from the one-day redesign to a full custom design service. I will only schedule one appointment per day. I want to answer all of your questions, and make sure you are clear about all aspects of the design, and give you the full benefit of a complete and thorough consultation.
• Why work with a designer?
• When you hire a designer you get an experienced professional who can solve challenges, assist in avoiding costly mistakes and most importantly, create an attractive affordable space designed specifically to meet your needs.
• I'm terrified of making expensive decorating mistakes. How can I avoid wasting money and aggravating myself?
• Education is a key element of the process. I will offer my experienced guidance and expertise. After learning more about your particular challenges, I will provide you with the best design solutions and implement the process to the fruition. All too often someone calls after they've made costly purchases~ save yourself the time, aggravation and money and make the call first.
• I'm afraid of how to work with color?
• Use the healing power of color to transform your life. This is an area where you can alter the look of a room dramatically. What colors make you feel good? When decorating a room, consider the three levels that have to interact in order to produce a successful color scheme~Background colors, Foreground colors, and accent colors
• Will you work with my design style?
• Yes. Remember I want the home to reflect your style! The collaborative process is so very important.
  Many factors come into play in formulating the design solution. There is the space itself~ with its potential and its limitations. There is how the space will be used. There are practical considerations. We will weave all these aspects together to create a home that reflects your personality.
